There has been numerous natural disasters over the past ten years or so and the frequency and magnitude seems to have increased leading me to one conclusion.

We've experienced the earthquakes and they've tested the volcano button with the Mt. St. Helens eruption. They have the capability to fire up several volcanos around the world and effectively wipe out life on earth.

They wanted mankind to succeed. They gave us several chances and we blew every one of them. You didn't hear much about this in the media but you can find video of northeasterners actually thanking Chavez for saving their lives when Bush would do nothing to help them.

I am not condoning everything that Chavez does but I am making the point that yes, at times other countries come to the aid of the U.S.

You have a good point. I think the US likes showing off that we love to help and that looks great to the world in the media, but then gets embarrassed and we worry about our ego when we get help.
