April Stats Question.... How Far Off Was Your April Revenue from your Target?
Simple question. Was your April Revenue on Target? Off Target? By How much? 10%, 20%, 50%?
Are you doing everything you could to hit that target? If you are and need some advice post your site here (or email me). I'm sure myself or someone else would be willing to give you some feedback. |
Since the target is to always grow to be a healthy company I would say we were off.
Bit steady last few months. |
Oh and are we doing everything to hit the target? Tend to believe we do, however we had some issues with a current project which pushed us back about 2 months :(

Depends.
Some sites/stores up. Some down. In the end, they balance out at end of the month. |

Here is something to try. Go on a tube site for 10 or 20 minutes. Find content you like. Get worked a little worked up and in the jerk off state of mind. Then load your site (probably with only one hand available). With the blood flow not 100% upstairs surf your site and see how it feels then. My gut feeling is you have a super clean nice layout but it feels like it's for an advanced user. I'm just looking for porn. |

Ahh I see now. You have low version and then i have to click for bigger. I didn't get that. You have to know where to click within a second or 2 of the page loading (ie same prob with landing page looked fantastic but I didn't know where to click).

We are having quite a big problem here to find quality programmers, so many ideas which need to be worked out but only so little time/people.
We did a test with outsourcing our mobile project but after 3 months it turned out to be complete shit so one of our programmers is currently redoing it from scratch. This was the first and the last time we outsourced something this big, perhaps it works on smaller independant projects though. Our backend is just to big of a monster and complicated to have someone not in the know work on it. Finally got another one of the programmers to start on our new webcam section which I am expecting a lot of. Hoping to have this launched next month but I am not holding my breath lol I have another HUGE project planned for September though so today another ad went out to find new programmers ;) So overall our biggest issue is finding quality programmers inhouse! |

Our problem right now is we've outgrown our current office space. We are moving into twice as much square footage next month and going to get hiring right away. Hopefully we can find a few talented programmers. |

Keep the expenses low and the revenues high, that's it! Maximum profit is the way! Good luck. It's also really good when you can make an investment with a high rate of return.

Someone really should build a company that specializes in support for adult companies who can outsource. Including simple tasks, traffic generation, updates and submit s with proper keywords, and so on. Few out there want to work. Regardless of what you pay them. :disgust http://www.outsourceforce.com/countdown |

We have continued to see growth month over month - February we kicked ass and surpassed the target growth by a mile, March and April were on par for what we anticipated. May is looking damn good though. |

My point was more for the bigger proggramming tasks. I want people who work on that to be in the office so whenever I need to ask or show them something I can walk right up to them. Also when they are in the office our main programmer can keep an eye on them and guide them when needed. |

Really looking forward to what will bring this for us though. Everybody is saying the same thing, mobile is where its at but to be perfectly honest I first have to see it to believe it ;))) I do see most of our TB sales are on the mobile sites already though so lets see what happens when we start redirecting. |
I had a great meeting last week with an investor I know that has started and built a lot of very successful mainstream projects. He made a really interesting comment to me. He said in the past companies would start with a website and develop outwards from there. Now he believes companies should start with their mobile platform and go from there. If you think about it that is a HUGE HUGE shift.

However, mobile isn't something that can be half-assed. Put the time and effort into it or it won't pay off. |

Smart phones in north america just became more than 50% of all new phones purchased. That is a HUGE benchmark. |

Our Pornstar tour will be launched today - I'm eager to see how that will do with you guys. |
I dropped around 12% between March and April, but the last couple days of April picked up and now May is rocking.

Considering where we are with freeones today I do believe we owe it in some way to our visitors to make sure the user experience is the best. So besides the potential of an instant extra revenue stream it's also a big point to satisfy the customer and built a long term relationship and secure that revenue stream for the long run. So yes as an online company you should have a mobile solution hence the reason we are working on it. Quote:
