Supz 04-02-2013 09:05 AM

Frank,

Are you selling your bitcoins for profits or are you keeping them for a long term?

I didn't like the look or btc-e.com. I went with vircurex.com but you have to use aurumexchange.com to deposit and withdrawal. But I feel this gives you more ways to fund your account and withdrawal the money. If mtgox starts trading LTC I'll probably move back to them.

It looks like they kinda confirmed they will start trading LTC this month.

I hear funding it with cash is a pain, but if you already have bitcions its a walk in the park. There is a new one opening on the 15th looks pretty cool. they also have shares for sale.

this. but i haven't ever been able to get it to open the fund with btc window, it stalls there every time! ugh.

MikeRoth 04-02-2013 10:44 AM

I funded my vircurex account with cash I had in mtgox. Had to create an mtgox voucher, then convert that to vouchX then deposit the vouchx into vircurex. Then buy bitcoins and exchange the bitcoins for litecoins. Kind of a lot of work, but meh.

USD to bitcoin on vircurex is actually trading at $105-$106 per coin. Wonder if you'd make any money buying on vircurex and selling on mtgox back and forth. Would have to pay a 1% fee transfering USD from MTGox to Vircurex though. Plus the exchange fees when exchanging.

Litecoins, for the people that wanted something more risky then bitcoins

when you hit fund with BTC the window opens up at the bottom of the screen you gotta scroll down. If its not opening at all the site might be stalling. Its been crashing all morning from traffic

Nice way to increase market cap by bitcoin, later they should introduce more types of fake money.
I mean fake money by other companies are failing, but people seems to pay real money for fake money by bitcoin guys.

BlackCrayon 04-02-2013 12:48 PM

MikeRoth 04-03-2013 06:03 AM

The litecoin mining difficulty shot up 50% in the last 24 hours. Looks like everyone is starting to switch from mining bitcoin to litecoins, :( Let me mine up a couple hundred litecoins first!

Just buy them. They're still cheap.

MikeRoth 04-03-2013 06:13 AM

Well mining them is free with no investment cost. It would take a while to get money from etrade into litecoins, :|

Sure but it will take a long time to mine coins to make some good money :1orglaugh

Then again i don't expect much from Litecoin. Could be some easy money now but it wouldn't surprise me if it crashes back to 0 within a few days.

woj 04-03-2013 06:44 AM

what kind of figures are you guys "investing"? couple hundred? few grand?

MikeRoth 04-03-2013 06:50 AM

Now I just need some decent charts for litecoins so I can start scalp trading.

Yeah, I switched to that site. I was a lazy fucker, the litecoins did cost $1 when I looked the first time but I was too lazy to register and the next day they were up $4. :disgust
But I ended up buying some anyway.
