Need a Virtual Hosting account - No Webair or Nakedhosting
Apparently my nakedhosting account for testing cant handle 500 hits a day without getting 50% 503 server errors, and the support dont think its a problem. I wonder why they call it "biz plan"
so if you know of a good shared/virtual hosting plan with unlimited domains, let me know They need to have a support staff that know what they are doing, and it should be 24/7 support |
|
Fuck i just got account at nakedhosting :(

500 hits a day? What server are you on? That's not credible..
|
Both me and the clients kept getting 503 server errors (Service Temporarily Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems) I contacted the support. Quote:

IP [204.15.253.99] as you can see in the support history, and if you contact Kacy, this is not exactly the first time there have been problems |

I know someone who got a new box at nakedhosting and it was wicked slow from the get go and barely pushing any traffic
phatservers is the only way to go |
Hi if you are looking for cheap hosting than try HOSTGATOR
I had over 1200 hits a day on one of my sites hosted with them with no problems. Their uptime is also very good |

I will look into your issue and get it resolved for you :)

I opened your site, and reloaded it several times, and never got that error.
|
You can check http://www.exmasters.com/virtual/ - many virtual plans to choose and even the smaller one is able to handle more than 500 visitors :)

CyberWurx are nice but they ain't so cheap

50% of the times the sites are loaded, they get a 503 error... Its not rocket science really, unless you are 100% clueless about hosting |
We need more suggestions

Long story short - when I went in to the hospital, they closed my server and a lot of my domains went out of googles index. I dont blame them for what they do, but I dont want to use them again. They are one of the top 3 hosts I have ever used. Only had very few problems there. I have recommended them to other people since, but its not the right place for me |

do your saled department answer the icq or do i need to send them a mail? Or maybe you could answer it. How much traffic can the "Enterprise" packaga handle? i got some static gallery pages that gets 30k hits a few days a week, and then nothing the rest of the month. Is that something it could manage without getting 503 errors? |
I've pushed 20k-30k/uniques a day with each user doing at least 5mb on phatservers cheapest virtual with no problems :thumbsup

From their site Extra dedicated IP. Must be justified accordingly to Arin guidelines ($1.00 CAD Monthly + $5.00 CAD Setup Fee) |

Epass payment is not automated, unless you use the virtual visa from Epass like a credit card. |
Wow, you're a virtual hosting kind of guy. Who could have ever guessed??

I'm not a gallery/traffic guy like you. Good VPS setups today are as stable as dedicated boxes I run several hosted win2008 terminal server solutions for my Infrastructure customers, based on Microsoft's Virtual servers. I'm sorry if that somehow dont fits your idea of doing things, but that is not my fucking problem. |

I buy enough IBM servers to buy directly at the European hardware brokers. I doubt you can say the same, but that dont make me call you a lesser business man. You are starting to sound like Sleazydream.. and that is not a compliment |
