debka not reliable at all. find another source.

Agent 488 06-20-2010 05:47 PM

Wired.com's Noah Shachtman wrote in 2001 that the site "clearly reports with a point of view; the site is unabashedly in the hawkish camp of Israeli politics," adding that Debka had partnered with the right-wing news site WorldNetDaily for a weekly subscription product.[3] Yediot Achronot investigative reporter Ronen Bergman states that the site relies on information from sources with an agenda, such as neo-conservative elements of the US Republican Party, "whose worldview is that the situation is bad and is only going to get worse," and that Israeli intelligence officials do not consider even 10 percent of the site's content to be reliable.[1]

plenty of speculation in that article not much facts.

we have been a week away from war with iran for years now.

rogueteens 06-20-2010 06:13 PM

Israel fighting any middle east country would just be an excuse for all the other arab countries to start on Israel.

The same thing almost happened in the second gulf war when saddam tried to goad Israel into a war, the americans had to stop israel from reacting becuase they knew that the arab allies would start favouring Iraq if Israel joined in.

No, i guess you aren't British? The British media are keeping out of it and not portraying Iran as a threat. British TV news is under rather strict guidelines and cannot portray any polictical views too much, the press have less restrictions though.

Also the Brits in general distrust most polictial messages pushed upon them, like the second gulf war which came very close to toppling the govenment.

You're right, I'm american sorry, I just figured since the same people such as Murdoch own the media over there, I figured they were just as successful at programming minds.

The british seem to be waking up pretty fast.

I agree. Really, what's Iran going to do? If they ever shoot a nuke, their entire country is gone and occupied within a month. No other country in the world would stand for it. And worst case scenario, Iran would turn into a sheet of glass within 12 hours.

I don't understand why everyone is so worried about Iran. They're one of the most isolated countries in the world right now, and if they ever acted agressively, it would bite in the ass 10 fold.

LOLOL!!! The BBC is SO biased, that the head of the BBC had to resign following an investigation into how biased their coverage of the Iraq war was....

nice to see the Israeli ship leading 11 ships full of pawns to their death. God bless the USA and your expendable soldiers, there is NO price to big to pay to make sure Israel can continue having their illegal nuclear weapons and the life of a soldier is nothing if that soldier died so that Israelis could murder some kids while they're at school and then laugh as the international community condemns them.

Right? Good job US soldiers, fight that good fight.

The USA have a problem with Iran? These bastards don't want to give up their oil and gas fields in exchange for a priceless american democracy and freedom? What a shame!

Not saying all what was published is true, but here's the news of the Truman strike group (1 carrier, 4 destroyers and 1 frigate) departure published by a local Virginia online gazette:

http://hamptonroads.com/2010/05/afte...eploy?cid=ltst

You can speculate this is just a military excercise or something else. But that 6000 US sailors are on their way to the persian gulf is a FACT.

if you look into the matter a bit further "the kelly affair" the reason he was forced to resign had nothing to do with being biased against the government.

and the reason you (and the jewish right wing) think the bbc is so biased is because of its even handed reporting on the israeli/palestinian problem.

the bbc is one of the most trusted and unbiased in the world. as you say you're a right wing zionist so from your standpoint, dealing with honest facts on israel/palestine doesn't go down to well, so you're going to have a different viewpoint on their reporting.

BBC - one of the most trusted and unbiased in the world. HA HA! dont make me laugh!

Not only did BBC "accidentially" stop broadcasting only minutes before the third building fell on 911, the BBC later stated they no longer have the original tapes. Furthermore, the reporter, Jane Standley, "doesn't remember minute-by-minute what she said or did". Oh, how convenient.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/theeditor...onspiracy.html

One of the most important events in television history and they cant find the original tapes. At best, the BBC is full of incompetent people. At worst, they are something sinister.

lol, do you know how often a news report via satellite goes down?

so are you really saying that some tv reporter from the bbc was involved in 9/11? i've got an open mind for conspiracies but 9/11 was what it was, islamic terroists flying planes into the twin towers, nothing else. at the very worst, if there was some sort of government conspiracy, i suppose it would be possible for the government to know it was coming and turn a blind eye, but that's about it.

I already stated what I stated. Reread what I wrote if you dont understand me. I am not here to be interviewed by you with your questions to me. I am here to show facts about how the BBC is full of incompetence and occasionally lies. I dont know exactly what BBC reporters were doing on 911. I dont work there. Ask them, not me. I only know it seems they are doing a very poor job and seem to occasionally use lies to cover up their mistakes.

First video:

The BBC cuts off the line when they dont want the report to continue. My guess is they cut the first video when they realised the building was still standing and did not want to admit their mistake. Just a guess.

They cut the second video when they did not like the question (my guess again). The audio does not immediately cut off. Jane can continue talking but she chooses not you. Instead, she seems to say something in spanish (nada) for reasons unknown to me. The only reason I can imagine that she did not reply is that someone did not want her talk too much and interrupted her and then cut the line.

On BBC's blog,

http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/theeditor...onspiracy.html

They are very disrespectful to the international community by lying and saying they dont have the tapes. My guess is they did not even bother to look for the tapes. That's how BBC says "fuck you" to international viewers.

On the BBC blog, the writer actually quotes some stupid youtube one-liner comment.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
As one of the comments on You Tube says today "so the guy in the studio didn't quite know what was going on? Woah, that totally proves conspiracy... "
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That's a new low level in BBC blogging journalism. That's like me quoting a stupid comment on gfy in order to make a point. utterly pathethic and so idiotic.

finally, guess what? Someone found the tape. Someone says the BBC stored the tape in the wrong year (2002). HA HA HA!!! HA HA HA!!! HA HA HA!!!

Maybe they were stored next to the 7/7 tapes (2002)
HA HA HA!!! HA HA HA!!! HA HA HA!!!

I still have not seen the BBC video of the building falling. They cut off the broadcast but my guess is they continued filming. They only had to continue filming another 20 minutes to see the building fall. This is a major historical event. It would be nice if BBC would be more friendly to requests for archive footage and requests for information from their reporters.

One more thing ...... conspiracy means more than one person involved. Look up "conspire" in a dictionary if you dont belive me. No one is claiming that 911 was done by a single person. Therefore, even you should agree that the 911 attacks were a conspiracy among numerous people, apparently from several countries.

i said they were one of the most trusted and unbiased news organisations in the world. an admin error in filing a tape away in the wrong year doesn't change that, or am i missing something? as far as that video clip you showed, i watched the whole program, that the clip is taken from when it was on tv, and most of the conspiracy theories were disproven.
