I understand that people sometimes copy stuff/code snippets - but this is just a shameless 1:1 copy with different affiliate-links

I've sent a DMCA to their provider - lets see what they are going to do

I am pretty sure that some stupid person from this forum has copied the site, it is not first time that some one from here copied entire site.

They host this here arvixe.com

and they (the hosting) are based in the USA.

"Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The infringing site has been disabled and is pending removal from our services."

Keep an eye on it, because he can move his site to another hosting company anytime.

No they moved from a 1:1 copy to keyword-copy.
Seems like somone does not like us. :P

I just think, it is easy target for a less creative people to copy such site, they do not need to update the site and etc.

I did some research to backtrace the owner of the list and found these sites:

thepornlist.com - Seems to be a mypornbookmarks-clone

That's not the same script is it? I've seen lots of these sites around.

I did www.iwantporn.net on my own from scratch without using any 3rd party script (apart from jquery :P). So everything what looks 90% like iwantporn.net or any previous version of it (like on theporndude.net right now) is a copy of the html/js.

This guy copied the images, navigation and filter-js... and even the colors are the same.

Ah I got you. I'd assumed it was some sort of paid script as it's a model I've seen a fair bit.

dmca is the wrong "law" to apply to this.

If you have a patent on some of the "unique" process that were copied . . .

Maybe of u have a copyright , u can take it to court

The most important thing i noticed is the porndude is WORDPRESS

I will never share my site/s on the adult forum.

They can still copy them from the internet. The content is only the final step.
The sites are more likely targeted by traffic by domain name than by content. The content is just the final straw as it is the strength domain they are really trying to gain traffic from.

Many newbies visit subject forums like gfy and there are more chances to be copied if you post own project links here, I think..
