Walking Dead ending

holy shit, I can't believe the black lady stayed. Looks like that grenade came in handy too huh?

what an awesome episode :thumbsup

deadbabes 12-05-2010 09:11 PM

I was kind of disappointed. Not enough zombies in the finale.

CYF 12-05-2010 09:14 PM

I'm really looking forward to season 2 now :thumbusp

ShellyCrash 12-05-2010 09:14 PM

I just want to know what Jenner whispered to Rick. :P

garce 12-05-2010 09:33 PM

I gave up after the first two shows. I just don't care.

That's the ONLY thing they left open for season 2. What a terrible TERRIBLE ending. It was a friggin season finale and literally nothing happened except them going back outside. Wow, they're right back to where they were one episode ago. WTF?

laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeee

It's going to get worse and worse. The comic was about the human species, and how terrible we really are. The zombies are just the back drop.

The comics are WAY dark, I don't think they will take it that far. I mean, they might.... but it's AMC, not HBO so I don't think they'll really take it there. You can kinda start to get the gist through the show that they are fighting more against man than zombies, but only a little.

A buddy of mine told me the other day that Frank Darabont, the head writer, fired pretty much all the staff writers that put together the first season. TBH I've been kind of underwelmed with the show so I think the shake up, if true, could be a really good thing. Darabont has a strong history transforming things for the screen so my fingers are crossed next season wil be better.

I'm not a hater of the show, but I feel it has potential to be much greater that what we've been shown. They need to make you care about the characters in the show the way you care about the characters in the books.

I heard about the firings as well. Guess we'll see what S2 brings, and if it helps the show. I don't know that I'll stick around much in S2 if things don't pick up quickly.

the show sux..thats why you fire all writers..'nuff said

But we did learn that it isn't just the US it is at least in Europe and probably worldwide. We might have assumed that before, but now we know. Also a main character died and we found out what happens when the zombies come to life (at least to some degree). We also learned that there is no cure that anyone knows about and that Shane left Rick in the hospital and told his wife he was dead.

So some stuff did happen.

I have a feeling this episode was all about money. The show can't be cheap to make so they needed a cheap episode and this was an easy way to give information and save some money.

Gonna see it tonight, hope it will make me eager to see the next season.

CaptainHowdy 12-06-2010 10:34 AM

It will suck up the point of being a "cult" television show...

Phoenix 12-06-2010 10:40 AM

i liked it....i want to see it again next year

i think its more about their survival rather then zombies.

i suspect alot of zombies will be dying off soon for lack of food....animals are hard to catch with out tools, so they will be dying out sooner or later.

i picture them camping out in a castle or something that is surrounded by a moat...or something like that, with only one way in...they barricade it...and just burn up any zombies that make it to the gate
