Bronson (movie)...anyone seen this?

I watched this over the weekend...holy shit, Tom Hardy was amazing and the movie was insane. I think I need to watch again just to try and figure it all out! Anyone else seen this?

DVTimes 12-06-2010 08:16 AM

i have seen shows about him.

he seems a nice bloke.

they should let him go.

Wilsy 12-06-2010 08:36 AM

I thought it was absolute crap.. But Tom hardy played his part well

Fletch XXX 12-06-2010 09:17 AM

worth seeing?

CurrentlySober 12-06-2010 09:25 AM

I preferred the original deathwish

adult-help 12-06-2010 09:31 AM

it is touted as a clockworks orange of 20the century and it has some great elements in there but nothing near the clockworks greatness. hardy is fantastic..the problem is the lack of story - it looks like collection of great or less great scenes...

One of my favorites from recent memory. You're going to be seeing a lot more of Tom Hardy -- he's been cast as the new Mad Max. He'll be the second coming of Russell Crow -- or at the very least, Eric Bana.

well...its definitely not a normal movie. Tom Hardy is really incredible in the lead role. it was almost more of an art piece than actual movie. I found it really interesting, the use of different types of music, the lighting, the visuals. I was looking for Enter The Void, so I was in a mood for a bizarre movie, and this one fit the bill! lol

John-ACWM 12-06-2010 10:23 AM

I knew it was out there but never caught my attention. Maybe I'll give it a try.

That guy's not Charles Bronson. The real Charles Bronson looks like he dug 17 tunnels, with his face.

That guy's face is all soft and purty.

It's not about the real Charles Bronson (the actor) it is about a British Criminal that changed his name to Charles Bronson.. He went to Prison about 25 yrs ago for Armed robbery and was mentally unstable and kidnapped some prison guards etc. They say he is Britain's worst prisoner and most expensive to look after he will never be released..

hardy was awesome, movie was so so

loved "its a sin" on the sound track and that scene was really bizarre

GlazedMedia 12-06-2010 11:06 AM

As per many of the comments here...Hardy is excellent but the film is very bizarre and lacking at times (I guess it`s one of those movies that you`ll either love or hate).

For anyone who likes Tom Hardy, check out The Take (Martina Cole novel serialized for Sky).

Um, I know that.

You have to have a warped sense of humor around me I'm afraid.

CaptainHowdy 12-06-2010 11:21 AM

Looks like something worth avoiding...
