I have about $3000 saved up to buy traffic and looking to make about $8000 in next 30days or so.

I have done other main stream affiliate promotions, but I am still new to Adult. Would appreciate your help.

Do you know what you are selling? do you know what type of traffic usually buys the product you are selling? Do you know what kind of traffic doesn't buy the product you are selling? Competition? You've tested your landing pages? You are looking for direct sales or....?

anyway, I recommend trafficholder.

I'd be really interested to see if any large traffic brokers offer him any help above and beyond just selling him the traffic...

I guess if he's willing to pay for help/training/assistance/monitoring....

Adult traffic has unique behavior a bit different from mainstream.

The main thing you have to always remember, average adult traffic is 75% male. The average surfer in adult traffic is there for his 5-15 minutes of thrill of masturbating and moving on with his life. If you cannot contribute anything to this pleasure session, he would not be interested in anything you have to pitch.

When buying traffic, don't buy ad spots.

put the money in a bankaccount and do not waste it in the Adult Business if you have no clue.

I just turned 3k into 12k so it can be done, but no one is going to tell you how. Take Si's advice. You could lose your whole wad if you dont know what you are doing.

Wow tough crowed, but I appreciate your honest. I do reasonably well in the mainstream affiliate market. Curious to learn this side of the coin too. May be I will spilt it in to few small investments and try out what works and what doesn't.

all this pessimism from some in this forum is totally uncalled.. YES you can make 8 grand buying three thousand dollar traffic.. it depends on the source of course but in 30 days its pretty hard.. i'd say you will make 8k in about 2-4 months

If all you do in mainstream is leadgen tread carefully or you'll piss that $3k away in no time

Buying traffic is so hit and miss, you'll be very lucky to find anything that makes any kind of decent profit on any of the bigger networks.

If you want a longer term income, buy 300 domains, put a micro niche blog up on each, autofill the lot with wordspun sponsor content, commence link trading.

Or put it all on red.

Seriously, I think Adult right now is way more difficult then Mainstream.

I'm not into meanstream, but a lot of people from the industry seem to make more money over there. I would not switch, especially since it dying on a monthly basis.
