Are your dental fillings toxic?

"I always wondered why we were told by the (American Dental Association) to be careful when disposing of mercury. If it's so dangerous to the environment, why not my patients?" asked Dr. Stephen Markus, a dentist in the Philadelphia area.

what about uranium in the drinking water?

wehateporn 12-15-2010 02:31 PM

Yep, this is very true, also watch out for mercury and aluminium, both used as preservatives in vaccines, and of course watch out for that nasty Fluoride stuff.

Order some Fluoride Free toothpaste on the net and you'll start to be healthier than ever before, your mind will become clear and you will become more determined to succeed

When I was a kid in the 70's, science class was never complete without the day we all dumped mercury onto the lab table and pushed it around saying "cooooool!!!!!"

The dentist wasn't fixing your teeth when he told you to bend over and touch your toes...

The good news is inorganic mercury is not very soluble.

Mercury and health care.
Rustagi N, Singh R.

Department of Community Medicine, Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, India.
Abstract
Mercury is toxic heavy metal. It has many characteristic features. Health care organizations have used mercury in many forms since time immemorial. The main uses of mercury are in dental amalgam, sphygmomanometers, and thermometers. The mercury once released into the environment can remain for a longer period. Both acute and chronic poisoning can be caused by it. Half of the mercury found in the atmosphere is human generated and health care contributes the substantial part to it. The world has awakened to the harmful effects of mercury. The World Health Organization and United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) have issued guidelines for the countries' health care sector to become mercury free. UNEP has formed mercury partnerships between governments and other stakeholders as one approach to reducing risks to human health and the environment from the release of mercury and its compounds to the environment. Many hospitals are mercury free now.
