I don't do new years pledges. If I need to do anything in my life I just do it, right then and there.

loreen 12-16-2010 10:06 AM

Pretty generic but you can't go wrong with health, wealth, and happiness.

i never understood why people wait for a holiday to make necessary life changes.

dumbest thing ever.

- oh im a fat ass, i can't wait to new years so i can make that resolution to get thin.
- after the holidays, i am going to pledge to treat my business like a business.
- i'm a bad person, in the new year i am going to pledge to treat people well.

it's like they rely on the unseen timestamps of life to dictate their lives. shit, if you have things you want to do to make you a better person, just do them.

It's easier to keep track of things/changes when marked by a memorable date. It's not rocket science. :2 cents:
