looks to be a fair bit of passing the buck, legally is this even worth the time they spent typing it out?


and I'm not just trying to be critical of the site, I am really wondering if there was any legal point to posting that, as it is basically saying that everything is user uploaded, but is user uploaded content free of 2257 requirements if it gets further handled by the webmaster in formatting and reposting it as a blog post? I can see that a site like youtube or a forum where the user posts directly live, but in a case like this, presumably a "user" is just submitting a photo, after which the site owner looks through them and then reposts them, which implies a responsibility of moderation and therefore a responsibility of documentation, copyright and 2257 etc.

It's user submitted, we are not posting content that was bought. That's why the site is actually becoming popular. These are real people submitting stuff. Not gf/bf content that he bought and are pretending like it's submitted.

If you submit a gallery and insert a tiny iframe into it or put the site url as a thumbnail url that would load the site everytime the gallery is visited.. so every gallery visitor = 1 hit to the site. But I am pretty sure, TheHun has this patched :winkwink:

And actually the site has only been online for about 4-5 weeks. Sorry that it is so unbelievable to you that someone makes a site that people genuinely like.

It's hosted on Dreamhost because other hosting companies were giving him problems, and Certified sucks. Dreamhost is not my favorite host, and far from it, but hey it's working for him here.

People submit them, gets about 20-30 submissions per day, only a few are posted.

Has some allure just very little content. Good luck building it up

A couple of those submitted pics reminds me of some of the selfshot content i saw for sale in the buy/sale forum here (Emma from London especially).
Also there are one or two pics of girls that do look a little ,well ... young.



DMCA does make me laugh, (not just this site but in general) to submit pics takes two seconds but to complain about one means jumping through hoops.
