Tho i love iphone next thing im buying is Android.

Well, i have played enough with it and it seems to me now if its PC or Apple its still the same pile of shit, canned electronics, just a tool to work on.

Can be a powerful tool too.

I've developed on the android platform - and it's very well documented for beginners.
I made a game with a friend in under 4 weeks.

I got to mess around with a new android phone the other day and I have to agree they certainly have come a long way.

Yeah me too, I had some issues with my iphone (problems with phone calls). The scores at http://www.gsmarena.com/apple_iphone_3g-2424.php seems to be fair as far as my experience goes. And "there's rumors on the Internets" that the iphone 4 has problems with phone calls too, so I'm switching to Android.

What Android phone are you looking to buy? I think to get a Google Nexus S, or a Motorola.

I like Nexus S, and Droid is ok too. Price wise Nexus One ir Droid. I live where we buy it all unlocked.

Anyone see the Droid Bionic yet?

tony286 01-09-2011 11:03 AM

I played with a few android phones and the os felt clunky compared to apples. I hope it gets better because the iphone has shit reception and its not atts fault.

cooldude7 01-09-2011 11:11 AM

Yes, I played with it at CES this week as well as the other 4G phones. I don't want to say it's worth the wait but I'm glad that I waited.

It's a hard decision as to which 4G phone to get. At the moment my preferences are (1) Droid Bionic (2) LG Optimus 2X (3) Samsung 4G (unnamed Galaxy S) and (4) HTC Thunderbolt.

At the show, the LG Optimus 2X was placed next to the iPhone and Galaxy S. You could truly see the difference. LG tells me that they make the screens for Apple.
