actually its rough all over i live in a quiet beach town and theres home invasions,armed robberies and drug related deaths within 20 miles of my house on a daily basis..pretty much like the rest of the united states ...so relocate to where? arizona? columbine colorado? maybe live on an military base in texas? or how about i just dig a hole and hide in it ?

guns kept for 'protection' are more likely to be used against a family member than an intruder. its a fact. look it up.

1.call 911 and hope the police ..who have guns come to your aid in time?
2.grab your gun and then call 911 and let the chips fall where they lay?
3.hide under you blanket and hope all they want is your money and valuables and not the inside of your browneye?

most likley you would choose option number 1..and the only reason the police can actually help you in that situation is because they have guns..because here in the USA the flashing lights and screams of "freeze" dont mean shit unless theres a gun to back it up :winkwink:

Having said that I live in rural Kentucky. I do not worry about home invasion at all now as opposed to when I lived in Florida and it was a very real concern. I do not own any firearms nor do I want to even though I have training with them and know how to use them in a safe way. In my earlier years my temper kept me from owning any and now I lack the desire to dump that kind of cash into them.

DEA, nice weapons. I'm not legally allowed to have firearms in this country, so I won't be posting any photos of things I don't have but wish I did. Though, I will say that Cambodia (our neighbor) will sell you ANYTHING you want, including hand grenades ($25 each) and any kind of firearm you could dream of, so if one were so inclined to break the law, one could have a small arsenal here.

For home protection, pick up a Mossberg 590 pump action riot shotgun with 20-inch barrel. Load it with a mix of slugs and buckshot. Buckshot for the first few rounds to hit them and put them down, a slug or two to finish things if the buckshot didn't. Just hope you never have to use it or can use it in the event you need to in order to protect your family.
