..I just launched a freesite with some high-quality, original POV content.
I.E.: I paid to produce this content, and I am, and will be, featuring it for free on my site. I know I'm not the first (by any means) to do this.
Any feedback on my content would be great! I think it's pretty good, but, of course, that is my subjective opinion. Warning: consuming this content may cause boners :thumbsup

So I want to populate my site not just with my own original content (which is very finite at the moment) but also with high-quality POV samples of various programs. I know digitalplayground must have some good quality POV.. any other recommendations?
Any other thoughts or warnings or suggestions or insults about MyFreePOV?
Anyone want to send me some startup traffic just to be cool? Haha! Any other ideas?

I know, silly, and of course the site design needs to be redone, so I plan on doing that and getting some real hosting but first I just wanted to see if the content could get me some traffic. 3500 hits so far...

Ahhh, the 5D. Figured it was not a typical video cam, it has a much cooler look.

I've tried this with my D300 but get too much camera shake. Does the 5D have something built in to reduce shake?

Again man, killer job. Some of the hottest POV I've seen in a long time. I LOVE the lighting.

Thanks man. The 5D can be sensitive to shaking, but we've tried to limit that with a mount we attach it to, that is also used for focusing. And YES, the reason I love shooting with it is its DOF!

What ring lite did you use?

good looking pov videos, i would ditch the site design and at least get a good description of the site in your meta tags, keywords there wouldn't hurt either.

Yeah, navigation and monetization are a bit hazy right now ;-)
And I'm not saying that we're just going to flat-out GIVE AWAY all of this content for free... but it seems that the HQ POV would be good to get the samples out there and drive traffic to our site. Perhaps we'll feature a good amount of sample POV content and start a pay-site for full scenes... Don't really know yet, still just testing to see if people go to MyFreePOV

This is awesome but no idea how on earth you could make money giving it away...

I mean... how much does each scene cost you to make? $800, 1000? I think a person is lucky (?) to make $100 from a single TGP gallery for the entire time it is online.

Agreed agreed. I don't think I'm going to give it ALL away... just enough to draw attention. I want to myfreepov.com to promote various programs with good POV... maybe we'll even start our own POV program with this style content... Good idea or bad idea?

You could have made a few hundred bucks with this already if you had made this a paysite...im talking about with your 3500 hits
