Actually, there is really nothing much happening at all. This stuff is basically just confined to one square in Cairo and involves about 500 from the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood. They just got the shit kicked out of them by a group of about 10,000 people who are tired of these lunatics. Aside from that, the rest of the country is actually just doing what they do every day, go top work, school, eat, sleep, etc.
I have realized one thing though, why did we ever go to war in Afghanistan...what we should have done is just built a big electric 100 feet wall around the country to lock these lunatics inside, that we could have just rounded up the rest of these islamic extremists, flown over in a plane and dropped them off.

Caligari 02-02-2011 08:20 AM

Let them eat cake...

DWB 02-02-2011 08:21 AM

Jesus, they are dropping boiling water and bricks from the rooftops onto people.

`terrorist Muslim Brotherhood` ... lol ...

They denounced the violence ... in fact, there is suspicion that those PRO Mubarak are policemen in civilian ....

What YOU should have of done is stayed out of what is not your concern and stop installing/supporting dictators. :2 cents:

For sure.

They pulled that a few riots ago in Thailand. It was Red shirts fighting the police and Army, and out of no where, the Blue Shirts showed up as a front line BEFORE the Reds got to the military. The Blues were all police and military with hand weapons to match those of the Red shirts.

Reds fought the Blues on the street, kicked their asses, then was met face to face with the Army who were behind sand bags holding machine guns pointing at them. Reds gave up after threat of live fire came out.

I have video of it all sitting around here somewhere.

Muslim Brotherhood Deception: They Say Different Things in English and Arabic
Here are 2 websites to compare – the Muslim Brotherhood’s English language and Arabic websites. First, the Muslim Brotherhood website in English – complete with the word “freedom” and a cute little girl, and no Islamic green in sight – here at http://www.ikhwanweb.com/:

AND NOW – the Arabic website at http://www.ikhwanonline.com/Default.asp (or here in google translation):

Wait – let’s look a little more closely. From the top right of each website, in English on the left; In Arabic on the right:

One message for the English speakers; another message for the Arabic speakers. In English, the MB is all about “Freedom” (and it’s no more threatening than little Aisha there in her white hijab); In Arabic, it’s the MB logo of crossed swords .

There’s a word under those crossed swords, here from a larger graphic of the same MB logo:

The word with those crossed swords is not “Freedom” – it is in modern standard Arabic:

وأعدوا

or وَأَعِدُّواْ

with the vowels from Quranic Arabic.

In Arabic, this is “And prepared” or “Prepare” or “Make Preparation” or “Make Ready” or “And Make Ready” and it refers to an important verse in Surah 8 in the Quran (alternative translation here):

“(8:60) Make ready for an encounter against them all the forces and well-readied horses you can muster that you may overawe the enemies of Allah and your own enemies and others besides them of whom you are unaware but of whom Allah is aware. Whatever you may spend in the cause of Allah shall be fully repaid to you, and you shall not be wronged.”

There you have it: the velvet glove with the word “Freedom”; the steel fist with the words “Make Ready” with its well-known Quranic reference. Actually, not steel fist – steel swords, crossed. The Muslim Brotherhood.

It is not “freedom” that they intend to bring to Egypt – or to anywhere else.

The Muslim Brotherhood are on public record time and time again that they want all Christians expelled from Egypt or killed.

CPimp 02-02-2011 09:05 AM

Pretty impressed by the people actually coming together for a common goal. I hope they succeed. 4 million people is a lot of power. Shit could get VERY bad... guns only hold so much ammo... if they wanted to, they could storm the president's building, even if a few die in the process, and hang that guy high.

Agent 488 02-02-2011 09:16 AM

doubt the million people that assembled yesterday was just Muslim Brotherhood. don't be stupid.

Rochard 02-02-2011 09:18 AM

With hundreds of thousands protesting and millions more not going to work, what do you expect? It was only a matter of time.

djroof 02-02-2011 09:49 AM

real chaos!

Caligari 02-02-2011 09:57 AM

The smoking gun is the fact that pro-Mubarak supporters attacked media which means they don't want the world to see something, namely the fact they they are plain clothes cops/military sent in to attack the people.

As DWB said its the Thailand strategy all over.

I just looked at an album of pics on Facebook from Cairo in the last 24 hours, and there are white dudes chilling with sack lunches. Friends of my family are there right now. LOL @ the dramaz.

I'm sure there are assholes out of control, but media is media...

IllTestYourGirls 02-02-2011 11:36 AM

The people who attacked Cooper are government thugs. Same with the people who were stealing and sacking the museums. Hopefully these people get a government they want, not a government the US and Israel wants.

It is time for the US to stop all foreign aid and bring our troops home and let everyone sort their shit out.

its time to let all the inmates out of prison too....

there's a reason why we stick our nose in everyone's business..

its called global stability...

currently, the US is the empire, so its our job to keep a leash on these 3rd world shitholes that cant get control of themselves..

what a lot of these 3rd world shitholes do have are resources that our corporations and govt want.. so, we must make sure that we keep enough control of these places to keep the resources flowing..

all good empires do this..

in the old days, an empire would just send its armies to other lands and kill people until they bowed down to their rule..

we are more civilized these days..

at some point the US will no longer be the empire and you will see china do exactly what we are doing today..

although we probably wont see that in our lifetimes..

The Muslim Brotherhood rioters attacked a childrens cancer hospital. The Doctors and Nurses fought them off....http://www.latimes.com/news/nationwo...,3820775.story

And according to the Muslim Brotherhood, Adolf Hitler was sent by Allah to punish the Jews....http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/142072

God help the poor Egyptian people if these Muslim Brothers rioters ever gain control of the country.

Mubarak may have done some wrong things, no doubt about it, but he kept his country in peace for 30 years while everyone else around him was at war, Egypt also had one of the highest economic growth rates in the region, and although Mubarak is a Muslim, he supported a multi-religeon country and never let the extremists get out of control. Over the last few years he has been slowly implementing the British westminster system of democracy. He probably should have stepped aside a long time ago. But I still give the guy some credit for keeping the peace for 30 years in the most volitile region in the world. Its easy for people to protest saying they represent democracy and freedom, but its a bit hard to believe them when their funding the Taliban, Hammas, Hezbolah and others.
