who uses hostgator?
got a q for you, do they let you setup something with email say [email protected] and it goes to 3-4 different addresses?
:thumbsup |
You could host with hostgator [or many hosts] have them change your ns records to install google apps on the domain in question.
Then set up a sales@ account and forward it from inside apps. Not sure if HG itself has the multi address forwarding option you need. |
if they don't you could set up [email protected] to forward to [email protected]
|
Yes :)

I do use their reseller accounts and they are pretty solid...
I think you can achieve that by making few forwarders in cPanel... |
Never again and I recommend others stay away as well...
|
Yea I had my dance with HG as well. They tied up DNS records for a year and when my current host called to see whats up it magically got changed and they said it had been done along time ago LOL
|
I love hostgator, if you go to their home page they've got 24 hour live chat, they'll answer your question pretty damn quick. They actually have smart people too!
|
Strange it should be fine.
|
Hostgator is fine. Straight up, just like wehateporn said.
|
hostgator is so NOT recommended
|
you can do it with gmail
first set a forwarding address that forwards sales@yourdomain to account@gmail in gmail you need to create identical "filters" so any incoming mail from "[email protected]" is forwarded to your intended recepients |
