Twitter Profile Widget for websites - Does it work in IE?

Has anyone else embedded one of these in a webpage and had it work properly in IE8?

I get an error like this:

From what I've read it is only a problem with IE. Any way to get it to work? I read a few posts about saving the js file and modifying one line in it, then saving it locally, but I still can't get it to work.

Bump for people smarter than me.

Or maybe someone knows a better method to display recent twitter posts on a site?
