Seems like the same thing as my local bank for outgoing wires.

I ask just to check is it legal email from Paxum (email headers in gmail are little simple to check it or i don't know how to "expand" it), and not some kind of 'bank scam scheme', jesus...

Of course we all got it but yeah good idea to check with someone.

Yes! That is sent from us and we are making some new updates to Paxum right now which is why our login is down.

The only way they would be useful to me is if I copied this to my phone... But then if I did that and someone stole my phone, they'd have all of the data they need anyway...

Hey Lykos, if you're accepting payments for your content through Paxum then you might find the info in this thread handy! We just added a Pay Now button and an IPN among other things...:thumbsup

V_RocKs just to let you know - this is for the e-wallet system. You would not need to confirm the transaction if you are withdrawing from an ATM or at a point of sale location - if that is what you meant by if you would need this on your phone.

Also it is 100% optional. You can disable it in your settings :-)

I got it but never had a paxum account... How the fuck did they get my email?

Odd , can you forward me the email [email protected] and i'll have that looked into. It only was mailed to people with accounts as the pdf file generated has codes unique to your account

Just Emailed you but did find an account under my email, maybe one of my guys needed it for something

So if there is a way to disable using of these codes, what's the point? If somebody gets access to your account, they would just disable this feature and then transfer out your funds?

We already thought about that. To disable payment authorization you are sent a verification code to your email that you have to put in.

Approval codes or confirmation codes are nice to receive.
