That's what all of my friends are telling me but I just got out of a 11 year relationship and don't think jumping in bed with someone is the right thing to do, I don't know.

I haven't gone out or hung out on my birthday in probably 4 or 5 years now. It's just another day to me, if it falls on a week day, like it has for a few years now, I'm not going to go out of my way to make a big deal out of it. I'll wait for the weekend or something. All the important birthday milestones for getting hammered are behind me anyways. I prefer to sit back on my birthday and ponder the year gone by, and consider options for the year ahead. More of a day for personal reflection to me now than a reason to party...

Happy Birtyday! I say forget being alone. Celebrate your birthday for the next week straight and pamper yourself and get out and do as many good, fun things as you can :)
