When is someone going to stand up and point out the fact that, in a country that outlaws slavery, we were all born into slavery. We were born into financial servitude and that equates to slavery. We didn't have a choice... it was decided long before we were born. For the entirety of our lives we owe upwards of 50% of the fruits of our labor to our masters purely because we were born on their plantation.

What you're saying is not quite true. We at least have opportunities. Most of us. If you got brains and work hard you can achieve a lot in your life. Even become a motherfucking president. Slaves had no option.

You could be free if you live in a forest or something. Civilized life requires a lot of resources.

This guy has it all figured out. He's saying, when life hands you a fold-able chair... yeah you can fold it up and walk away, but what you don't see is that you can unfold it too which is the most important part.

I woke up this morning, took a dump, went for a run, had breakfast, went to the gym, came home and played COD, and now here i am goofing off on message boards.

Hardly born into slavery.

The only thing that enslaves us is our lack of motivation. We can choose to work in any profession we want, given enough work to get there. We can live just about anywhere we would like as long as we come up with a means to pay for it. We can travel freely in and out of our countries just about as much as we'd like if you can afford it.

So if you can't afford to do any of the things you want or love maybe you should rethink your life and start going in that direction. Go to school, get a different job, save up and start your own business.. NOBODY is holding you back, only yourself. Blaming corporations, big business owners or the government is just an excuse for you to not become what you want.
