Will there be another .xxx panel?

Will there be another .xxx panel?

If so can we get our ducks in line and get someone to really ask this guy whose running the company selling the .xxx some real questions.

So far he's given stupid reasons and non answers.

He says .xxx will clean up the image of the industry and the only concrete answers he gives to how is e will ensure all applicants for domains under this extension will be over 18?

And they will not allow child porn on those extensions?

So how does he plan to verify the person applying is over 18, by the use of a CC? :Oh crap

Will he personally check the applicant face to face, limit it to only public listed companies and corporations or how will he ensure that all applicants are over 18?

I suppose crooks over 18 are fine?

Will they allow sites who hide the domain holders info in secret to sell the domains?

Will he allow P.O.Boxes?

How does he ensure the info in the domain application is true?

As for child porn, it's obvious when a person is pre teen. What about a 17 year old. Will he ask to see the documents of every performer. And if he does, what does his lawyer tell him about EU privacy laws?

He mentioned a hotline for surfers and customers of sites to notify him of sites that are fraudulent. So what's the phone number of the hotline and what's the procedure after they receive a phone call. How many complaints before the look into the site, will they look inside the site to verify the complaints. What is the procedure for sites getting complaints?

It seems to me that the idea of an open forum such as the one in Phoenix is a bad idea. It needs one person with all the questions and the ability to interview to ask the questions and push for definite answers. The Phoenix forum on .xxx was an example of bad planning. IMO. Could of been a lot better.

They dont allow CP? Now I have no reason to buy a xxx-domain anymore.

ugh not another panel, everyone's discussing the thing to death and does nothing about it. It has been passed end of story :2 cents:

I doubt there will be another one with the likes of Vaughn Liley and Greg Dumas on it.

I know it's passed, would just like to see the guy squirm by being put under pressure.

The Phoenix Forum was a shambles. He got away with murder.

Thanks Emil :thumbsup
