it is sadly only narrated in dutch.. but the basic point of the video made by gaia a well known animal rights group in Belgium is to stop people from buying horse meat from Argentina

the video shows the extreme disregard Argentinian horse traders have for the well being of the animals.. if you love horses DONT WATCH

something should be done about this! I normally dont care about people eating meat but this is just wrong

have you seen a horse fall to the ground and getting attacked by a pack of dogs ?? all while in the care of the farmers/horse traders :mad:

I applied for a job at Slutker Fur in Edmonton as a skinner once, I didn't bother taking that job. Pay was great, but fuck me, vomit. lol

I can only watch a few seconds of that. Makes me want to kill a motherfucker, and I'm not even a horse fanatic.

All their problems start with the pack of wild yapping dogs. You'd think as farmers they'd at least have the common sense to know how to herd animals properly.

I haven't watched the vid but just so you know, there's a rule about posting animal cruelty stuff.

let's also not forget the pain that US horses have to go through because of ... American horse lovers:

until 2007: (older) US horses were slaughtered in the US and the meat was used as dog food or shipped off to France, Japan, Belgium, Italy, ... for human consumption (since it's illegal to eat horse in most US states, it had to be exported)

BUT then horse lovers heard about horses being slaughtered for export, they got all mad, got politicians & courts involved and so the slaughter houses were closed

RESULT: overpopulation of horses, which are now shipped off to Mexico in horrible conditions to get slaughtered there

I'm sorry a horse is not a pet, it can be, sure, but so can a pig, doesn't mean we should make it illegal to eat pig or cow

that said: Argentina, as all countries, should do more checking for animal cruelty

hmm, I did not know about that .. but I do remember issues in the past where people where posting vids glorifying animal abuse .. in other words vids that were made by the animal abusers to let everybody see how sick in the head they are.. this vid however is by a legit animal rights group from Belgium who made it so people would watch it and put a stop to this practice .. if nobody sees it .. the issue will be ignored .. and those farmers will continue on dealing with animals in this way

I can't watch it, it's just sad what money corrupts and how week some people are. Abusing animals is not right anywhere for any animal. If you have to kill an animal do with respect and quickly.

Protesting and negotiating with evil never works.
