Forget the iPhone - this is the phone to get!!!
After falling into icy ocean last week I had to replace my phone (sony ericsson x10 Pro) - I have had the iPhones since the beginning to the last one too- and now I got the new Nokia E7 - now THIS BLOWS AWAY anything I have owned before!

Looked at it but went with the HTC Desire Z instead. Just on recomendations from others though.
PS had an iphone before this one and yes I also like this one much better. |
Nice looking phone. Are they in the states yet?

EVO 3D http://www.new-cell-phones.org/wp-co...-phone-031.jpg Great specs. I have been more than happy with my EVO, but this seems to be pretty bad ass.:thumbsup |
Sorry but Apple have mastered the art of usability.

EVO is still the best phone out almost a year after it was released.
|
sell them in my mainstream site at $650/pop. decent phones but symbian is an outdated system. nokia sells the most but not in US at all.

Forgot I wrote this thread, so just following up with my experiences over the past couple weeks of use.
Symbian is different and takes a bit longer time to get used to than for instance the iPhone, but easier than Android. The Nokia E7 is overwhelmingly more powerful in usability than the iPhone - hands down and then some. Except for when you surf - that takes a bit taking used to and I am still not 100% comfortable with the "back" function but getting there. The OFFICE products it comes with are awesome, so is the MAP/GPS, plenty of apps to have for free and to buy - and a ton more I have yet to get to. |
Sorry, but the E7 is by far one of the worst phones I've messed around with. I worked for a large mobile technology company until just a couple of months ago and the biggest part of my job was to play with awesome phones all day...I specifically disliked the E7 and almost every other Nokia phone I tested.

Ah, it still uses Symbian? Kill that thing already. I have a Nokia N900 (after 12 years of buying [Sony] Ericsson I decided to try another brand) and love it, but my wife's phone with Symbian seems really clunky to use. The N900 uses a new Linux-derived OS which has apparently already been abandoned. :Oh crap :disgust Does make it easier for porting stuff though, I just installed Firefox yesterday.

I got one of these, and it's insanely fast. Love it.
