When we used film we called it filming
When we used tape we called it taping
Now we us a hard drive so is it hard driving?:disgust

Hmmm, capturing maybe. lol

I shoot on professional SD cards nowadays, I don't call it "SD Carding", lol. "Recording" if you must or "shooting" in more general terms. Same applies to your home DVR "recording" a tv show or setting a Season Pass, not "taping" like in your old VHS VCR.
