iMacs are being refreshed!
I think I am going to get both sizes, just so as I can have them side by side on my desk, and show off...

The one that I dont use much, I'll just throw away. What about you?

I got one six months ago for surfing and love it but will throw it out when the new improved ones are available. That's called iupgrading.

Infact, I may get an extra 27 inch one, and take it down the beach to try surfing on it myself :thumbsup

I just rediscovered my two mac mini's from 2006 and find them still very decent .. will be working on them once I have fully updated them ... pretty decent machines even 5 year old ones are super fast

Easy mistake to make!

First time I saw them, I thought they were solar panels!

How foolish I felt after buying 24 of them and putting them on my roof! Naturally, they didn't work so I just threw them down onto the patio and set fire to them.... Still makes me chuckle :)

I suspected an upgrade was coming... as always JUST after the 14 day return policy expired on mine..

I JUST bought the 27 incher, and now they upgrade lol.. go figure.:error

The new iMacs seem to come only with the new Thunder port and new Sandy Bridge processors. The new port is great for transferring files super fast, and as far as I can tell the new processors are the same speed as the old ones, but run cooler and use less power. A few reports also show the new iMac to ship with larger drives.

Apple was smart not to call this any kind of a new iMac or even an iMac upgrade - they are just keeping up to date with the latest technology.
