Afraid of terrorism?
People look at terrorism the wrong way.
So Bin Laden is dead, now many of us fear a retaliation attack. By that you implicate that a relation attack will come sooner rather than later. But you couldn't be any more wrong. A terrorist attack will come when you least expect it, years from now when you think everything is safer than it was before. Stop being afraid of attacks during the royal wedding or on the 4th of July and start looking at the bigger picture. They aren't going to attack on the anniversary of anything. They are going to attack any day of the week, when you least expect it. And it's this same old bullshit, the east and west playing who started it, pointing fingers at each other, with enough hate and blame to go around several times. The truth is they are both to blame. Eye for an eye and the entire world is left blind does come to mind. Both have shed blood and left complete destruction in their path, caring nothing for poverty, misery, hunger, or anything other than power and domination. Finally I want to say that some (or most) humans act like fucking savages. Am I the only one who thinks it's sick the way people celebrate in the street because Osama is dead? It's twisted and barbaric. I don't care who's been murdered, don't care how "evil" he is, to dance in the streets is worse than uncivilized. It's simply disgusting. Am I the only one who sees that? |

1 - You can't really fight terrorism. It's a ghost, an ideology. It's not something you can shoot dead.
2- Stop hating 3 -Don't celebrate death on any level. |
I'm not personally worried about an attach. But I am worried about our country being attacked.
Celebrating in the streets makes me sick. |
whats the last terrorist attack to hit america? homeland security only gets increased during high threat opportunities and right now that's what's happening, but it never turns off, you say it'll happen when we least expect it, but what makes you think that when terror isn't in the media there's loopholes in national security?

I am in no hurry to die, but I have come to accept the reality. As long as the other man is willing to trade his life for yours. He will win. It really is that simple. |

One thing we know is that Osama's death will not kill Al Quada, but it will sure as hell disrupt a very important thing in an organization....leadership and chain of command.
Osama Bin Laden is irreplaceable. You don't just cultivate a unifying, charismatic figure to take his place. Figureheads like Osama Bin Laden make organizations like AL Quada possible, and they only come along once in a generation. They'll be seriously knocked off their game for a while. |
That's the thing with terrorism, it really is effective.
You can't expect governments not to do anything when large public events occur and by the same token you cant expect them to be hyper vigilant and omnipresent. |

Hope you do better in your "Adult Copywriting" than the phrase in your post: "...........By that you implicate ..........." When what you SHOULD have written is: "By that you IMPLY........" Pulleeeeeezzzzeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! If this sort of thing is typical of your "Adult Copywriting", I'd hate to see your NORMAL copywriting! Am I sorry that the CIA/SEALS offed Osama? No. Not in the least and you need to get a better handle on history. And please learn the language if you are going to try to pass yourself off as someone who can write it. |
Terrors reign anywhere. Terrorism is just the highest degree of it.
And the frightening truth is it would never end. |

But war is war I guess. Celebrating is just emotion as people feel he killed 3000+ Americans. Afraid of Terrorism? Yes. Today I feel it might have finally come home. We cant keep f'n with the middle east as we have the last 20+ years and not expect a nke to go off eventually on US soil. So I do have a bit of fear today for the first time. Maybe we should have just kept chasing him. Why kill him? |

If you look at the crowds in the celebration vids, there's a good douche quotient mixed in there. I'd guess its probably the same people that would be out in the street if their team won the Superbowl, looking for an excuse to act like idiots, climb on lamposts, break shit and piss all over everything. |
You can't go through life living in fear. Some things are out of our control.

Dont judge Americans by a few dummies in the street. Most people, espec the young of course, are controlled by the media, mass marketing, peer pressure, fads, ect. They are controlled because someone is making a dollar off them somehow. In this case they are all pretty brainwashed by the media and 911. It's the mentality you have at age 21. It's more about getting free booze (from your rich friend who is all happy BL is dead hehe) Noone really gives a fuck at age 21. :) |
Im personally not afraid of terrorism, I just dont get it :(
Haters, why. |
Welcome to how its been since the dawn of time.
Terrorism is nothing new. |
