95% of Affiliate programs DMCA the WRONG people...

Sure, some guys find Spankwire by listening to Howard Stern, but the majority of guys find it by searching for what they want...

Case in point:

Guys wants College Fuck Fest. He Google's College Fuck Fest. He gets:

pornhub, tube8, spankwire, xnxx among other tubes that are illegally using the video to sell everything BUT the videos web site: CollegeFuckFest.com.

So most sponsors send out removal requests to the above mentioned sites and those sites possibly take down the offending videos, but then put up 5 more...

You should be sending your DMCA to GOOGLE, MSN and YAHOO! They WILL block that result and over a period of time and a multitude of complaints, you can then SUE G/M/Y and a judge will more than likely tell them to develop algorithms to deny listings to illegally hosted videos.

Then and only then will people start surfing YOUR porn and paying for it!

I also noticed that most solo girls or GGW are off the tubes. There must be aggressive tactics that are used to control their content.

I see collegefuckfest.com as the first 4 results (1 ad). But yeah I see your point.

Will Google really remove those results if you send a DMCA? Didn't know that.

DWB 05-06-2011 05:05 PM

I don't even know why people bother trying to do the right or legal thing anymore. Just fucking steal your content, fuck everyone over that you can and make as much money as you can. People will still buy you drinks and the shows and call you bro.

goldassets 05-06-2011 05:08 PM

i just sent a dmca to myself

Here's the problem with going after the google results...
First off, you have to LEAVE the offending video up on the pirate site so Google can confirm it's there. So while you wait on google...your shit is being seen by millions.

Then once google takes it down...THEN you DMCA the pirate site.

I prefer to go after the pirate site itself. Then the link is dead. And it soon drops off of Google anyway.

That has been what RYC has been doing since the beginning with our stuff and it works like a charm. New stuff shows up on Google every week on the first page...and soon it is gone. Of course then it's replaced by another site with our shit...but that soon is gone too. Just over and over.

Point is there is no need to continuously go after the Google links. The ones we go after are the ones we CAN'T get DMCA'd down from a pirate site like TPB
Other than that? Just get them off the pirate site and the link will drop off google organically.

That is a strange one... What is the point of putting up teasers? So you get a few type ins here and there?

Agent 488 05-07-2011 07:36 AM

remove your content removes infringing sites from google all the time, as do others.

jigg 05-07-2011 07:42 AM

it is true
if you DMCA Google they will remove the listings from the search. Then when someone searches it will show a message at the bottom of the search page saying some results were filtered due to DMCA requests

Trust me, it's much more than a "few" type ins here and there.

I've always been surprised that no one ever discusses Google picture search. When I want content, I don't go to a sponsor - I use Google picture search. All of the content in the world is out there for free.

seeandsee 05-07-2011 09:20 AM

google remove some results, but dont know where to fill request

Define "no one".

Norm of Perfect 10 has repeatedly tried to sue Google for years on those grounds and lost.

Add in 100 companies and Google will start taking notice.

or those big boys will get pissed and decide it easier to get fair uses like commentary to be extended to cover "this is the coolest (whatever) i have ever seen"

effectively making tube content 100% fair use and just never deal with you again.

It a hell of a lot cheaper to hire one of the lawyers who successfully established fair uses like "timeshifting" to extend an already established fair use like commentary

than it would be to continuously change their algorithms to keep catching "illegally" hosted videos.
