Just bought a 9 year old PR4 domain for 73$
On a godaddy expired domain auction...
workathomebiz.info Your thoughts. |
domain sucks balls

PR: nice
Age: nice Ext: blows... .info rankability sucks compared to com/net/org and they don't get type-ins plus these days they LOOK spammy given all the $1 reg's of them by spammers Name quality: Considering the ext, not that great. If that name ever loses its PR, you probably wasted most of that $73...as it is, it's ok as long as you actually can get rankings with it. Good luck. |

Not sure if that's effective or not I didn't buy it for the domain / typeability of the actual domain itself |
There are some great aged domains on godaddy auctions for prices under 20 dollars, sadly this isn't one of them. Paying 73 for a .info is just silly in my opinion.
|
now start your biz ;)
|
I would not really have bothered even if free
but if it fits somewhere in your linking strategy why not |
not bad now fill it up with chit from clickbank and start making some $$$ on idiots that buy those ebooks...
|
google whore
|
good purchase as long as the links that got it to pr4 haven't already been pulled :2 cents:
|

|
As long as your happy then I'm happy for you:thumbsup

buying a domain only because of pr is not too wise investment.
|
The PR will go down as soon as the previous owner pulls his links from the
domain. |
not great of a name, but its fine if PR stays.

I think its great catch if you can flip it or used it for something you need
|
get more "work at home" backlinks and adsense it. Only time will tell.

Wow, what a ridiculous amount of misinformation in here. I buy PR domains from Godaddy auction and off forums like Digital Point all the time and never lose the PR so long as I do my due diligence. As long as the domain hasn't been dropped you won't lose the PR just because of an account transfer. If you are diligent in checking the backlinks before purchasing you won't lose those, either. The only way you lose them is if the previous owner was doing link exchanges. If you do a simple backlink check it's pretty easy to tell which backlinks are traded and which are just old forgotten backlinks that will still be there. People on here just love to comment with no real experience in what they are talking about... :2 cents:

next update it will have no page rank
|
Age is useless unless it's indexed,i just let expire 13 year old domain.
