I never really 'got' the first one...

It could be a UK/USA humour failing in translation kinda thing, but I did live in the USA for 8 Years, and I find other USA stuff funny...

But The Hangover? No, not so much...

The movie is one big crap fest.
I laughed few times but overall... crap compared to the first one.

It reminded me of the bit in Idiocracy where the most popular show is people getting kicked in the balls.

I think with comedy, it makes a difference with the mood you are also in. Maybe watch it again another day & see what happens!?

I saw Hangover 2 the other day and I enjoyed it TBH, especially made me laugh with how Alan is :1orglaugh

I'm looking forward to Transformers 3, that "should" be good.

The Hangover 2 was almost completely identical to The Hangover with superficial details changed. Monkey instead of a tiger, shot instead of punches, Thailand instead of Vegas. That said, I still found it to be funny, but not as funny as 1.

its not like movies like the hangover are that 'funny'. its just that everyone wants to live out the fantasy of crazy nights out without actually doing it. thats why these movies are so popular.
