Appliance FAIL! Come laugh at me

So I just finished remodeling one of my Phoenix properties, re-did bathrooms, painted, changed the carpet, put new tile in various places and once it was all done I bought nice stainless appliances

Looks great until you open the oven door...

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh oh man that sucks.

i lived in an apartment where the door would open and hit the fridge door on the front (gally kitchen) always was a pain in the dick to get shit in and out.

you could always just move the fridge over to the left some

Because I'm 3000 miles from the properties I own and most kitchens are built in a normal way where standard appliances fit.

But measure twice, cut once would have been a good rule to follow here.

I have a counter depth on order and will be putting this fridge in another one of my properties. All will work out fine, I figured everyone would enjoy getting a good laugh at my expense.

John-ACWM 06-01-2011 12:33 PM

:) hope you'll solve it!

Tom_PM 06-01-2011 12:34 PM

List it as "bachelor friendly". Probably right up there among the most common "oops" in a kitchen remodel.

ottopottomouse 06-01-2011 12:56 PM

Just knock a hole in the wall and push it back a bit.

I've done that previously when no water was connected to the fridge, it was easier to just order a counter depth and put this one in another house.

19teenporn 06-01-2011 04:01 PM

I can do a nice natural stone backsplash for you on those naked kitchen walls...
