Just crazy! Chinese teenager sold his kidney for $3400 so he could buy an iPad 2. 17 yo... Don't they require parents to grant permission on something like that for minors? I see only 2 options - either he doesn't have parents or they're complete idiots!:2 cents:

Oh lol if you think about it this way - he could have sold it to buy any other thing he considered cool. In this situation I think you have to give credit to the people who raised him for failing to load a bit of common sense into his brains, and, if it was an illegal surgery, to Chinese government which treats people like animals.

kinda looks like the kid just decided to get quick money and this was the best way he could think of, without apple pushing him into actually doing so (i'd highly doubt they would risk losing their reputation by even mentioning it)
