Did it once and size was wrong. Rather go to store and try them on.

just picked up a fresh pair of sneakers from www.zappos.com, arrived in 2 days, size was wrong since i could not try them on, gave em a ring- they shipped the next size up right then and i promised to send the wrong size pair back, new kicks were here the next day and the old pair is en route back to them, all shipping covered. great transaction.

I second that. Zappos is fucking amazing. They've made shoe stores obsolete in the same way that Amazon made book stores obsolete.

ya i will try them on first, get the model # and buy, same with eye glasses, always find them cheaper, but only if i know the model #

Me too. Wal-Mart is the only store in town that has the deodorant I use. I HATE Wal-Mart and didn't want to go there just for deodorant so I ordered it from Amazon. I had it in two days with free shipping. Suck it, Wal-Mart.

i'm always impressed by the variety of products they have available for free shipping. i needed some office scissors and spent $7 on what ended up a shitty pair from officemax, figured i'd check amazon, got a pair for $4.50 shipped free that had several hundred positive reviews. i ditched the pair i got from the office store.:thumbsup
