Cool shit. I've seen Facebook like buttons on plenty of porn sites getting liked, but the amount of likes compared to traffic is pretty damn slim.

Actually people seem to do share adult sites on FB and twitter. Hence more and more sites using the AddThis.com features. Not sure if not against their TOS, though.

Up votes have been around long before FB lifted it.

The +1 button seems to require that you use the Google canonical link-rel in the header, which means it's probably gonna kill indexing on any sub-pages that may all be built the same but feature dynamic/variable content - such as a model directory, or a tgp, etc....

It's a trap - it's going to speed up google results but not help sites with deep content.

While simply surfing I ran into a few misc. sites that are taking advantage of it, like this: http://www.manualbookguide.com/. They are popping up pretty quick.
