Anyone ever break any metacarpals (hand bones)??
Broke 3rd and 4th. All healed and have mobility back, however.. It's shaped really funny in one spot. Like one of the bones is "tented" at the break. Just curious if anyone else experienced this as well and if so, has it caused you any further issues? I'm kind of a bit apprehensive to put any major strain on it in-case it pops open again.
Doc says it healed fine when cast was removed but the bone is not lined up straight.. from side view it looks kinda like this: (knuckle end) -------_____ (wrist end) Instead of just _________ |
No, I havent, but my carpel tunnel kills sometimes, especially when I used my wrists loads ceramic tiling years ago :( Since filming lots of women, I dont have a the same pain, maybe less wanking also :winkwink:

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome corrects itself in time :) Once the thing that causes it is no longer done to it, it tends to go away over time. I used to have it pretty bad from hard labor work.

I broke my 5th on my right hand. Turns out that you cant hit someone in the face repeatedly as hard as you can like they do on tv. It healed ok though after the dr set it but it sure did swell for a few days.
Broke my left collar bone and it seperated, took 9 months to heal and there is a big lump there now. |
phew ... lucky me ... when i was bicycle racing in my teen years some idiot stepped onto the track and i was forced to evade a crash ... i hit a wall at the speed of about 25-30mph ... luckily not head-on but with my left side ... it smashed my left hand but after 2 surgeries and 9 months of healing it was close to "new" - yet weak and no fun to use ... gee, that was over 25 yrs ago :/ all fine now :)
