DJ's using the iPad 2
Just read this off the Judge Jules website, speaking about a recent event Jules and Eddie Halliwell played at:

Wonder how many of the main dj's we will see using this. I was at an event a couple of weeks ago and noticed one of the dj's (Dash Berlin) had an iPad with him. He was holding it up to display messages to the crowd, but i thought at the time that was all he was doing... :error |
More technology to fail.
Although it's going to be interesting in the future when you can hologram DJ in 7 places at once. |
the dj apps are cool to play around with, but that is all...
I have all the dj apps for the ipad/ipad2/iphone, and I would never use them live - main reason: they all crash :2 cents: |
IT's very cool
iSerato - Full application and not a midi |
I play with it all day long , I love it !

Dayum.. thats fucking cool |
I used to say real DJ's only spin on vinyl.
Then all of the real DJ's I know started using all of the latest tools (except CDJ's; always rejected them). |
I had talked about doing this where I work, didn't know it was possible. I'll have to look into it more.

This kind of technology is advancing everyday..

http://www.ipadmixr.com is coming out soon. It targets professional DJs and I think this app will make DJing on iPads a lot bigger.

It's going to be kind of hard to compete with these giants. I think this app will make bedroom DJ's come out even more than now ... :2 cents: :thumbsup |

iPad Mixr will be on a whole different level, and the first of it's kind. |
Just when you think a bullshit profession couldn't get any more ridiculous...

Well I think iPad is only good just for launching clips, loops, effects or smth like that.
Myself, I still prefer my Pioneer gear to play with, instead of iPad. |
Nice :pimp
