Is pot legal in SF?

I think I read somewhere a while back that it is possible to buy it in shops in California.
Are there any such establishments in San Francisco?

OK, thanks. I figured that if it were to be legal anywhere is US, then it would be in San Fran. Evidently not.

It's legal if you have a "prescription Card" for it and then yes you can go right into specific stores and buy it legally.
