They sure put out some bullshit statistics in that story.

Near the end of the story the reporter said the govt. thinks that 70% of all the cocaine in the U.S. is "tainted" with the de-wormer cut.
WTF?!?!?

How in the hell would they have any idea who is cutting their coke with what? And it's in 70% of ALL coke in the U.S., then why aren't a hundred million people across the country running around with their ears and nose rotting off? lol

The doctor in the report said it happens in one to two days after using tainted coke. Yet, the hospitals around the country aren't overflowing with patients.

I had to giggle when the doctor said he wasn't sure WHY somebody would cut coke with that stuff.

I know the answer. Because it didn't cost 'em nothing. Somebody who moves a lot of coke in LA got his hands on that shit (probably got a couple of gallons that were stolen). It's white and looks like coke.
In other words...it's the same reason they use inositol and manitol and baking soda and any damn thing else that is white and looks like coke.

It's ALL about the money. But the doctor can't figure out why...lol

You know as crazy as it sounds...it wouldn't surprise me to find out the govt. themselves are distributing the bad coke.

I know, I know...but I lived down in Miami in the 1980's playing in bands. And Reagan's govt. was doing the "Just Say No" anti drug campaign. Meanwhile his CIA was the number one coke dealers in Miami.

Any of y'all remember that? They were bringing in cocaine to Miami to finance the military shit we were pulling in Nicaragua because Congress wouldn't fund it (back before the President's became kings and just started bombing and invading countries...they used to have to ask Congress and get funding first).

It was all over the news back then. In one hand the U.S. govt. had the DEA arresting people for drugs, and on the other side they had the CIA selling it! :1orglaugh

I don't put ANYTHING past the authorities or the govt.

I also was still down in Miami when the FBI busted the "River Cops" down in Miami. That was when the Miami cops were busting big drug deals...but instead of arresting everyone, they KILLED everyone, dumped the bodies in the river, and took the coke and sold it themselves!

I also was playing in my band down in Key West when the FBI moved in and arrested half the Sheriffs Dept. of Duvall County for selling coke. :1orglaugh

And my memory was a bit screwy about Key West in my earlier post. I said Duvall Sheriffs. Duvall is the main street in Key West..not the county. It's Monroe County and it wasn't the Sheriffs Dept., it was the city police dept. http://www.news-life.com/us/crime/cr...t-in-key-west/
Sorry for the fuck up there on my part. But I will say the cops sold me some of the best coke I ever did while I was playing Sloppy Joes back in 1983 (did some better the next year when my band went down to Lima, Peru in 1984 for CBS records)
