Where can I acquire R-12 refrigerant.. inexpensively?

My womans car has R-12 in it... I love R-12, because it gets A LOT colder and I think it is better for the a/c components.

Pretty sure you have to be licensed HVAC tech or similar to acquire that?

I used to work in the administrative side of the business and think I remember it being that way but since I never personally touched the stuff, I'm not sure.

Yes, but it is often available on Craigslist, or otherwise.

Just as a note: Don't just try putting R-12 in an R-134a system. You'll end up paying dearly if you don't know what the hell you're doing. The systems are not quite compatible.

Yeah I know that refrigerant or any compressed gas is nothing to fuck with ... and it is an R-12 system

You may have to be EPA certified.
