Been in biz for 4 years today!
 

So as of today, my humble thing that is David-Nudes.com has been live and in business for four years now! Yeah for me! If you are new to the business, let me tell you that when people say "it takes time" to make it, YES they are telling you the truth. For those who dont know me or forgot (I dont chat much, just work), David-Nudes is my brand that I shoot and sell in the softcore "art nude" niche.

When I started out, I just had an idea and some left over student loan money. I lived out of an RV and had a negative net worth (thats a nice way of putting it...), no rich parents or anything like that. The year leading up to the launch of David-Nudes.com (the first form of monetizing) , all I did was shoot and work on the product/concept. By the end of year one in business, I had made a grand total of $8400.

Today, I own a 4000 sq ft luxury home in north Phoenix with a pool and spa, treated myself to a sweet white Porsche convertible, and bought the wife (my first model) a new BMW 325i. Ive had no other job besides running David-Nudes for the last four years, so to just even make a living off of this is awesome :) But, Ive seen my yearly gross grow by 3x each year over year, and gross sales for this year (all diversifications of the brand) are on track to be $500,000. Of course, I dont get to keep all $500K, but you get the idea. But aside from subscriptions to the main David-Nudes.com website, I now have about 15 other avenues for sales that derive from the original work.

For the future, me and the good folks that help me along the way are working to continue the diversification model I developed specifically to gain more exposure to our audience (a never-ending aspiration). Ive read so much negative stuff on here over the last few years about the biz and how hard it is, and all I can say to newbies is to win over a loyal audience and get them to worship your brand by producing the best stuff you can for them.

Ok, thats my 2 cents for the next year or so. On to begin year 5 tomorrow, got a shoot in the afternoon with a cutie :)

I see you have 30 days for $14.88, 45 days for $29.95, 365 days for $74.95 all non-reccuring. Questions;

There isn't much time difference, 15 days between your first 2 options and it actually costs more per day to sign up for a longer period of time. Maybe make it 90 days? Or are you getting sign ups as it is?

Do you have a feel for how many actually re-sign since you don't have recurring billing?
