There is a spook that lives a few blocks from here. I watch him very, very carefully.

I have never seen it but I know that they show it here in the U.S. on some channel with a diferent show name, "MI-6" I believe. "Spooks" has a racist meaning in American slang...

Its not nice to call them spooks.

Last night I was looking for information on a mod_auth_token issue I was having. Google led me to a thread on another forum which contained my answer. Really, thats a bit of a fail, it should be MI-6, MI-5 is the secret homeland service.

BTW, one of the good things about Spooks is that its one of the few shows that show the UK secret service on the defence not only from russia, ect but also from US agents.

I used to watch it years ago.

i usally PVR my shit at night, usally watch it over the next 2 days, mostly either when i wakeup or after 9pm.

Many years ago there was an Aussie TV series made called Secrets, on the national broadcaster the ABC. It aired one episode then got pulled off air, it was edited then the series was put on late at night when hardly anyone watched it and then got canned.

Years later it was revealed that one of our local intelligence agencies had it "reworked" because it was too real for their liking.

I had never heard of this. A spook is a spy to me, never been anything else.

show is called "nignogs" in the US.

used to love the original few series, but kinda boring now. bit like 24.
