I dont think the new show will make it. I am sure Charlie has his fingers crossed that it fails.

It may have a very different comedy approach without Sheen but I think it will be just fine. The network will do everything it can to make sure it stays a hit to give Sheen the big middle finger.

I will watch the show. It was always funny and well written, and Sheen is now nothing more than a joke. Ashton Kutcher was funny in That 70's show and surprised me as a really good actor in The Butterfly Effect. I'll watch.

I don't think it's gonna make it either. The entire show was about him. You can't replace him.

Charlie Sheen not being grossly overpaid to star in a mediocre sitcom is almost over. Sheen has inked a deal with Lionsgate to star in a sitcom adaptation of the film Anger Management.

Currently there is no network attached to air Anger Management, or costars, or even a show runner and writing team. The main creative force behind the show is just Charlie Sheen. Having Charlie Sheen as your main creative source might be fun if he were still giving chain-smoking interviews to TMZ and 20/20, but he's not.

Charlie Sheen is now a brand where a sober dude tries to convince you he's wild and unhinged. And his individual endeavors thus far, such as his failed web series or failed comedy tour, have been abysmal. Just how bad is Sheen at making creative decisions? He has agreed to host this year's Gathering of the Juggalos. Unless Aaron Sorkin comes along to make the show good, or even just interesting, we'll be saving room on our DVR for Ashton Kutcher's debut on Two and a Half Men (no, we won't).

You guys may hate it but two and a half men was one of my favorite sitcoms. I hope this FNG can pull it off or I'll be bummed.

the show was built around sheen...i can't see fans watching without him. they were watching the show because of him.

I don't Ashton will be able to take Charlie's place, but I do think that he will bring a whole new audience to the show.

I really hope it don't fail and becomes great again! It does suck bad about Sheen, but we will have to wait and see! Fingers crossed.

Mixed feelings, I liked the old 2 and a half, this seems odd. I'll watch at first to check it out, and if its good then I'll keep watching I suppose.

you do realize they made the same predictions about the death of the show when diane chambers character was written out.

that show was based around the relationship between those two characters

According to what I read in a UK newspaper, the plan is to kill off charlie in a car crash, in the first episode. You wont see the crash - Just hear about it. Towards the end of the episode, Ashton turns up, as a new character...

But I could be wrong - That is what the paper said though.

I give everything a chance, I gave this two and I didn't laugh once. Its just bad refurbished gags. I actually thought the show was a parody of a bad show the first time I saw it.

Kutcher is to young and unexperience in life to play that kind of role. He's demi pet boy and only good in semi comedy/romantic movies made for chicks.

I just wonder how they're gonna play it, they just can't put him in as Charlie, I can't see that happening. The only thing I could think of is that he comes in as Charlie's long lost son, but I guess we'll see.

Ashton Kutcher was funny in 70s Show because he played an idiot. He was never a good actor and The Butterfly Effect has to be one of the dumbest movies ever made.

This looks like it could be great! September 19th better hurry up and get here already!
