But it's also a western. Meaning, since they didn't have much in the way of indoor plumbing back then there will likely be a few outhouse scenes. You know, for realism. Meaning you might get to see a few poo scenes.

Nothing can be as bad as that soundtrack...

After seeing the movie last night, I agree, it would have been a better rental and you won't really loose much. The cinema release was not the cinematography I expected for a Spielberg movie. I liked the movie as I can't think of two better genres I like but it was a bit slow at times and the story lacked any depth.

In all, it was a nice night out but just another aliens trying to take over the world for our resources thing. :sleep

There is just no possible way that a bunch of people sat in a movie studio executive conference room, discussing big budget movie projects, reviewing scripts and pitching projects for the summer release and all agreed with a straight face that this was a great idea.

Either they are just fucking with us (most likely), or the studio head has dementia and no one wanted to speak up because they were afraid they might get fired.

It's a Spielberg Movie. I don't think there was much in the form of executive discussions outside of what he wanted to make.
