docjohnson 07-24-2011 10:50 AM

I'd say Russian webmoney or E-gold. Anonymous and secure. But, like any good investor, you should always have a diverse portfolio. Look at overseas mutual funds (cough china cough),

CurrentlySober 07-24-2011 10:51 AM

Bitcoins...

I'm asking you because you said your trust any money backed by country
You were quick to jump on bitcoins without even researching it proclaiming 100% trust in any fiat currency issued by any country..
so I assume you must know something about it.

Serge Litehead 07-24-2011 11:03 AM

i told you before i'm telling you now, there is no country backing their own currency, all they can do is devalue current money in existence by printing more new bills. in case of hyperinflation - any money in savings effectively become worthless. glad you are beginning to realize that on your own.

"fucking bitcoin" is because you know nothing about it. keep displaying your ignorance and laughing while giving 100% trust to "real" money "backed" by their respective country

Harmon 07-24-2011 11:10 AM

Right then.. just don't jump on something with stupid moronic assumptions about things you have no clue about .
Bitcoins may fail or may advance the world.
The technology it's built with so far out-stands the way current money being produced and function - this is very clear to me.

The real money you speak of are just pieces of paper with printed numbers and seals on them ;)

IllTestYourGirls 07-24-2011 11:21 AM

yen, swiss franc or gold and silver.

shimmy2 07-24-2011 11:54 AM

Well at least you're not buying dinars

NaughtyRob 07-24-2011 12:40 PM

USA will never go down.

dyna mo 07-24-2011 12:52 PM

stick with your own country's currency eh. solves several problems, the major one being the rest of us are spared from at least one thing about the u.s. you can complain about.

seeandsee 07-24-2011 01:27 PM

Chocolate country :) currency looks interesting, with all the banks and shit. Maybe split gold/swiss is good combination.

why limit your choice to currency when there are so many investment vehicles. But to answer your question, best bet is to either short the US dollar, or pick up a currency to a country not exposed to the US economy. you'd need a guy like Jim rogers to figure that out. He's got a great blog...

You should have been out of dollars a while ago.

Read history and see what survives a currency collapse.
