I see some sights are offering 2-7 dollars per free sign up to a dating site. Pretty sweet. Is that the norm now?

Also depends on country too. USA is gonna pay higher than China.

Personally I just prefer to stay on PPS this way I know there won't be any ROI issues later where they lower the per lead price. Figure everything backs out to a PPS price anyways so whether you're paid on ppc, pps or per lead it all comes out to the same payout.

no not really normal, it varies by program - but sure it can go that high, doesn't have to be the street rate. In any case, it is always dependent on your free to pay conversions even if they have a hard per email payout without conversion minimums.

If your traffic blows they'd still lower your payout, move you to PPS or %, shave your leads or kick you out of the program

You found the catch. :) Watch out for conversion requirements for free:paid too. As well as the period of time for the conversions to count. Some programs will have a period of only a week where if you send 75 frees but have 0 paid joins you get nothing for the 75 frees. Others the period is cumulative or one month or 15 days.

Those payouts have been around in dating for years, but ultimately the conversions still have to be there in order to qualify.

they'll only pay you if you send paid joins, so might as well use PPS.
