This is what happens when you tell a Porn Chick she'd make a good musician...

Scottsdale - from www.phoenixnewtimes.com - The biggest problem porn star/former Charlie Sheen "goddess" Bree Olson faces with her new porn-star-comprised rock band is "being taken seriously," she says -- which is a legitimate concern for a rock band made up of women who have sex on film for a living.

The fact that they often show up drunk -- if at all -- get in fights, and vandalize things adds to the concern.

Olson is wrapping up filming of a reality TV show about a porn-star rock band that made a stop in Scottsdale recently.

"The band" is comprised of Olson, and fellow porn stars Monica Mayhem, Layla Labelle, Alicia Andrews, and Tuesday Cross. The "band" played two nights at Babydolls in Scottsdale. Apparently, things didn't go well.

According to Olson's public relations firm, "their first show at Babydolls was a disaster as lead singer Monica Mayhem was detained at a photoshoot in Scottsdale and didn't arrive in time. Lead guitarist Layla Labelle had to take over the mic and her heavy French accent made the lyrics nearly incomprehensible.

"The second show wasn't much better as bassist Tuesday Cross celebrated her 20th birthday by getting drunk and mangling the band's set."

Club management stopped the show after just three songs.

"It was kind of humiliating," Andrews, the drummer, admits. "It was definitely a wake-up call that we needed more rehearsal time."

The band canceled its third Phoenix show in order to return to Las Vegas and "work on their sound."

The show, Tight, seems to have all the components of a perfect reality TV show: porn stars, a lot of drinking, and at least "a half dozen fist fights." Production was almost halted twice, the band says, once following a violent brawl in Las Vegas and again after a vandalism spree in L.A.

"These are very talented musicians but not everyone is willing to give them a chance," Olson says.

well, thats rock n roll. they got that part right. now play music properly and if the lyrics are about fucking and shit, i'm sure they'll get some kind of cult following...depending on what it actually sounds like.

I'd watch them play.

one great thing from that phoenix rag is that Dex Romweber and her sister are playing August 8th in Phoenix.
If you ever heard of the Flat Duo Jets you must see this guy live...pure rock n roll gold.
How good? Jack White sang one of Dex's songs to Jimmy Page in a recent music doc.
