Well, I certainly hope this doesn't come true. Although, if I were asked to predict the next war, it would follow what we're seeing in the rest of the world, internal, civil war. I hope that's not true either.

NATO plans campaign in Syria, tightens noose around Iran - Rogozin

MOSCOW: NATO is planning a military campaign against Syria to help overthrow the regime of President Bashar al-Assad with a long-reaching goal of preparing a beachhead for an attack on Iran, Russia's envoy to NATO Dmitry Rogozin said.

The UN Security Council condemned on Wednesday ongoing violence in Syria and urged the country's authorities to stop using force against peaceful protesters, while saying the current situation in the country has not yet called for NATO interference.

"[This statement] means that the planning [of the military campaign] is well underway. It could be a logical conclusion of those military and propaganda operations, which have been carried out by certain Western countries against North Africa," Rogozin said in an interview with the Izvestia newspaper published on Friday.

The Russian diplomat pointed out at the fact that the alliance is aiming to interfere only with the regimes "whose views do not coincide with those of the West."

Rogozin agreed with the opinion expressed by some experts that Syria and later Yemen could be NATO's last steps on the way to launch an attack on Iran.

"The noose around Iran is tightening. Military planning against Iran is underway. And we are certainly concerned about an escalation of a large-scale war in this huge region," Rogozin said.

Having learned the Libyan lesson, Russia "will continue to oppose a forcible resolution of the situation in Syria," he said, adding that the consequences of a large-scale conflict in North Africa would be devastating for the whole world.

Yeah, but the flaw in the logic is that WWIII would end the recession.

In the video the narrator clearly mentions massive US manufacturing during
WWI and WWII. The manufacturing made the money.

There is no manufacturing that the US does now to bring in that kind of money.
The reality now is that going to war means going broke.

People have a hard time admitting that the US economy is being hurt by the
current wars. But it was predictable way ahead of time.
Osama Bin Laden stated his goal was to ruin the US economy by getting the US
involved in a long war. He did it.

Has Moscow looked at a map recently? Seems to me that Iran is, um, duh, surrounded. The US already has forces in Iraq and Afghanistan - on both sides of Iran.

Wrong. A large portion of the manufacturing base might have left, but the US still makes its own planes, boats, tanks, trucks, and weapons. And just like last time, the US would quickly ramp up.

We are going broke now because of the housing market, not because of what's happening in the middle east.

If we woke up the morning the President announced we are on a total war footing, more than half of the population would suddenly be working for the defense department in once capacity or another. Unemployment would be nonexistent, everyone would be making money, and you wouldn't be able to buy a house because there wasn't enough people building them.

The next false flag could be just weeks/months away. So what do you guys think it will be when it does happen?

a. Aircraft carrier
b. attack on Washington that takes out Obama (the people who put him in power are the most racist people on the face of this planet and they don't give a fuck about him)
c. Nuke on a midwest or southern city
d. attack on Canada (USA, England, Spain, Bali, India, etc have all had false flags but Canada is still untouched)
e. a series of smaller attacks around the USA for maximum effect (shopping malls, sporting events, etc)

All I know is that our national wealth has been stolen and the people who did it do not want to be blamed for the economy crashing. They need to find a scapegoat. We all know who that scapegoat is but the question remains how they will pin the blame.

My vote goes for a series a smaller attacks. September 11 was way too obvious of a false flag. It does not even require any work to uncover enough damning evidence to convince anyone with an IQ higher than room temperature. Smaller attacks would be harder to prove that our government/allies are behind it. Plus it would create maximum terror because people would wonder if they are next. Nobody would go out shopping or to sporting events and that could aid in the passing of the blame for the economy crashing.

An aircraft carrier is just too far removed from the average fat lazy Fox News addicted turd to make them care. More than 20 Navy seals were taken out and 2 days later I take my family to see a Blue Angels air show (absolutely amazing show by the way and I got to see the pilots face as he buzzed our boat while he was flying upside down). There was no mention of the Navy Seals who died. No moment of silence out of respect for their sacrifice. Everyone was just out having fun drinking beer like nothing had happened. I was actually kind of offended that there was no prayer or moment of silence. I think if we just went back even 10 years and that had happened people would have acknowledged their deaths.

I doubt they will pull off a false flag in Canada. Stephen Harper is a total traitor whore and he sucks all the right cocks so it is not like Canada needs to be punished for being dissenters. But then again since he does suck all the right cocks he would be a good guy to make sure the false flag was covered up properly.

They could pull off any of the above scenarios and blame Iran because the USA population is so utterly stupid at this point.

As far as "when" it will happen is anybodies guess. I have no idea. We are approaching the 10th anniversary of Sept 11 so they could just do it then. But they probably won't pull off a false flag until they unable to prop the economy up any longer.

Where are they going to make this stuff? IN the old days they would just shut down some factory making toys and start making weapons, now they can't do that. I suppose they could take over abandoned rotting factories but times have changed, people are not needed as much in the manufactoring role as they were 60 years ago. I don't see war as recovering anything anymore.

We still have manufacturing in America, it's just not our main money maker.... but it's still here, it's still huge, it still out produces most countries.

Every major city in America has at least a dozen massive, empty, warehouse, manufacturing style buildings open. That's before taking over ones that are active, with equip that is needed.

Not all jobs will be in manufacturing either, we will need mining again, for those raw materials, something most countries can't do, but America can.

The difference between today and then, today we can produce it far faster, with far less people.

Our war machine 'right now', is larger than the next several countries added together.... let alone if you put a fire under our ass. It would take ww3, it would take many nations to stack up, all producing non-stop, to dream of matching what we already produce today, let alone during a war.

Don't get me wrong, money saved is money saved, but that 1.2 trillion over 10 years, also produced money, the war machine is a major part of our gdp right now, but it doesn't hold a candle to the bailouts, for sure if you start stacking them up.
