How to make my blog convert better?
 

Hi,

I have that my girl has been updating and adding posts for like 2 years now. It gets like 400-500 unique visitors / day, however it converts very badly: 1:2500. Any ideas how i could make it convert better?

I plan on changing the wordpress template, replacing some of the banners (from new sponsors also) and add a few new posts.

Yeah...thats for traffic. I'm interested in how to improve the conversion ratio, basically now i convert 1:2500 with twistys, even my tube sites convert 1:250 to 1:500. All the traffic i have on the blog is from search engines (mostly google).

Reduce the number of ads for a start.

Not to be rude but why would anyone tell you how to improve your ratios? I personally have nothing to gain by helping you succeed.

Maybe try a different sponsor? I have mostly SE traffic for my blogs as well and some sponsors are great at conversions in the 250-500 range and some go from 1:500 up to 1:2000 after awhile.

@Babaganoosh: nobody is forcing you.

First, can I ask you to explore the following points:

- What are you selling specifically?

I don't mean just a subscription to a porn site - I mean, what's so good about? What's different? Unique?

- Who are the people on your site?

Do they mean to be there? Have they activily sought you out? What is your direct traffic?

Nothing is actually unique about my blog or the paysites that i promote :(

Basically 90% of the visitors come from google for porn star name keywords and some other 2 word keywords with sex and hot. So visitors want to be on the site and they want to see pornstars.

Do you know what else those people are searching for ? What can you offer them that your competition can't ?
