Hey ! If you are planning to go to the shows at Prague you might find interesting this list of the cost of living in Prague, how much for a dinner, supermarket, etc

The guy who made this list must be living close to a garbage dump. A decent 2+1 condo will cost you at least twice as much as he quoted.

Your first link clued me in. I have a feeling this trip is going to get confusing.

I've never been to Europe and I am planning this carefully. A friend of mine convinced me of going with him to Prague so I guess it won't be that confusing. Are you going to Amsterdam?

dont exchange money on the streets, pull it from the ATM when you can

if you need to exchange use the exchange booths (Směnárna), they show the actual exchange rates next to their windows. calculate first how much you will be getting before you approach the teller

And like always. be careful when taking cab/taxi. Let your staff at hotel reception call them and try to to negotiate price before getting to destination.

When you arrive at the airport they got a big yellow counter, where you can get an AAA taxi at a fixed rate.

Also you can get a fixed price (about 35 USD) from our limousine service www.karlimousineservice.cz

Transfer FROM the airport to the event hotel CZK 700 one way/car max. 3 pax
Transfer from the event hotel TO the airport CZK 600 one way/car max. 3 pax
FROM and TO the airport CZK 1200 return/car max. 3 pax

Take the bus and then Metro. Much cheaper than Taxi. If you buy a daypass it will be like 80 Koruna. Taxi will be around 400.
