Today was our last day at twistys.

Thank you Sean for the opportunity. Thank you Michael for being....you. Thank you to my coworkers. And thank you to all the webmasters I've written to over the last year. I'm at a loss for words so I'll use pics, some from Twistys' early days.

No, most people were given three months to either join manwin or find a new job. Many of our former team joined manwin and if Manwin hadn't been in Montreal (further from my family) I would have jumped at the chance to work with them.

With the growth Manwin is going through, I imagine everybody (that performed) who wanted a job could keep their job or go elsewhere in the organization.

Stop being douche bags.

Everybody builds their company with the hopes of being able to sell it one day. Sometimes employees get lost in the shuffle but that is part of what happens when you're an employee.

I've been let go after an acquisition and wasn't too pissed ... it's just business.

She's been great so far. Try emailing her.

Indeed. Reality check - It happens in the real world as well. Laid off three times, in one year, during the dot bomb days in early 2000's here.

Who is left in Twistys now?

Do you mean which of the core Twistys employees have moved over to manwin? As Michael said, there is no one left in the Toronto offices. All operations have ceased and the transfer of Twistys' properties is complete.

Of the people you see regularly on this board, Van and Rob are still onboard in Montreal. Our tube sites are now handled by xtube's excellent team.

Unfortunately, I was not offered a position in Montreal with the rest of the team.

After revamping our mobile tube division and killing it so much that pornhub is copying my designs and methods, Fabian took me aside for a conversation:

Fabian: I'm sorry, but you can't join us in Montreal
Me: Did I not do a good enough job on the tubes? I really want to work for you guys. I thought I was pretty awesome
Fabian: That's precisely it. You are too awesome. Your awesomeness would eclipse all others and it would decrease morale in the office.
Me: No way!
Fabian: Yes way!
Me: Ok. I understand. You have to do what's best for your company. How about I come visit you sometime in Germany? We can go to the Atmos down the street or take a trip to Palace with your Bundestag friends after they say no to Greece for the 10th time.
Fabian: Sure buddy.

And he rode off into the gleaming white light on his winged unicorn while cherubs play on little harps
